SDA Appointment ~ Day 4

Bright and early this morning Jeff and the girls were met at the apartment by our facilitator, Serge.  He drove them over to the SDA building where they would get the formal invitation to adopt Matthew and Michael.  The whole meeting literally took less than 5 minutes.  They showed them the boys official files and talked a little about each child.  They showed them a picture of each child.  Sometimes they will exchange the picture they have for one that we bring but this would not be the case for us but that is okay.  We are very grateful for the pictures we do have.

Jeff said the temperature there was -10 * C this morning and that translates to 14* F.  Very cold!  Jeff and the girls will pick up the SDA paperwork tomorrow at 4:00pm their time and go hop on an overnight train and go to the region our boys are in.  They will get to go to the orphanage and meet the boys Friday!!!  Oh what a day that will be!!!  To be able to love on and hold our children for the very first time.....priceless, miraculous!
