Near-death experience

This past Monday, 1-23-12, our oldest son, Wesley, almost lost his life in this car crash.

God had other plans.

Wes dangled upside down in the drivers seat for over 30 minutes while EMS worked to cut him free from the car.
He was unconscious with one lung collapsed and the other filling with blood.  He stopped breathing and was put on life-support once freed.  His prognosis did not look good.

 God had other plans.

Just look at the drivers seat in that car!  Where can a person who is 6'7" even fit?!?

In God's protective hand, that's where!

Drivers' side pole impact

From ALL accounts, Wes and his passenger should not have survived.  The EMS, police and ICU staff all said they had never seen a crash that bad have survivors.

God had other plans.

Wes was released from the hospital last night.
His lungs are clear now.
He had no broken bones, just a few cuts on his face and head along with a concussion.

His passenger walked away from the crash with scrapes and bruises and went home the night of the crash.

Only by the grace of God.

Thank you, Father!
